Robyn Wanke

MSW, LGSW

Life is hard. Sometimes you're carrying worries that won't shut off, navigating a major life transition, struggling in relationships, processing difficult experiences, or feeling stuck in patterns you've tried over and over to change. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to help you better understand yourself and create meaningful, lasting change.

My style is warm, honest, and active. I genuinely care about the people I work with and strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. While I strive to make others feel seen, validated, and heard, I'm not the therapist who simply nods along for the whole session. Together, we'll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, challenge beliefs that no longer serve you, and build practical tools you can use outside of session.

I integrate aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy to help clients create change that extends beyond the therapy room.

My clinical experience includes emergency mental health care, crisis intervention, reproductive mental health, and community-based case management. I've worked with individuals navigating trauma, severe anxiety, suicide risk, major life stressors, and the real-world challenges that often impact emotional well-being. Having worked alongside physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, I understand the connection between physical and mental health and am comfortable collaborating with your care team when needed.

I believe therapy only works when there's a genuine human connection. That means authenticity, honesty, and humor. We can have meaningful conversations, tackle difficult topics, and still find moments to laugh along the way.
