Mei Li Ooi
Clinical Intern – MSW Candidate
You want more than awareness–you want transformation from hurt to whole. My clients are often thoughtful, accomplished, and emotionally aware–but held back by personal and cultural messages that they are worthless and undeserving. That they do not belong. I work with teens, adults, and couples ready to explore and heal the abandoned and exiled parts of themselves with courage and curiosity.
Therapy with me will be a collaborative process. My approach is trauma-informed and draws on psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, nonviolent communication, and spirituality. Together, we will rewrite the wounds, limiting beliefs, behaviors, and structures that hold you back.
Let’s begin the journey back to the truth of who you were before pain, shame, and societal programming set in. Let’s begin the journey to a life with more love, purpose, and wellbeing.
Mei Li is pursuing a Master of Social Work at St. Catherine University and working under the supervision of Melissa Raatz, MSW, LICSW.
Mei Li sees clients in-person (Minnetonka) or via Telehealth.
