I offer a compassionate approach to therapy, focusing on the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. I provide individual therapy to children (ages 6+), adolescents, and adults using strengths-based and person-centered approaches. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and practice through a trauma-informed lens.

I specialize in child and adolescent mental health and have over 25 years of experience working with youth across diverse settings including outpatient mental health, early childhood and elementary school programming, sports coaching, PCA care, and hospital/hospice care. I believe parenting plays a key role in a child's success and enjoy partnering with parents to help their child thrive.

I am trained in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and utilize expressive therapies with children and adolescents including play and art. I use the IATP 5-Narrative NET Method, brainspotting, and internal family systems/parts work, to help heal trauma. I am trained in Psychological First Aid and a Disaster Mental Health volunteer for the American Red Cross.

Kim is a Clinical Supervisor through the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.
