Sarah is a pre-licensed therapist working towards her LICSW. She completed her undergraduate degree at Bemidji State University and received her master’s degree from St. Cloud State University. Sarah has worked in the mental health field for 5 years. She has most recently worked as a care coordinator in an inpatient geriatric psychiatric unit for the previous 4 years and completed her most recent internship working within hospice and end-of-life experiences.
As a dedicated pre-licensed therapist with a profound commitment to enhancing mental well-being, she specializes in addressing depression, anxiety, and grief among the adult population. Her professional journey is marked by impactful work focused on support systems and positive therapeutic interventions which alleviate anxiety and guilt. Her work has resulted in significantly improving her client’s overall mental health. She is also particularly interested in working with individuals and families that may be impacted by the diagnosis of dementia.
Fueled by a genuine passion for helping others, her focus extends to adults, recognizing the unique challenges they can face. One of her aspirations is to incorporate EMDR therapy into her practice. She is driven by the belief that everyone deserves a fulfilling and emotionally resilient life.
Her goal is to contribute meaningfully to the mental health landscape, fostering resilience, well-being, and self-care within the populations she is drawn to serve.
