Q: What are the credentials of your therapists?

Our therapists are licensed clinical social workers (LICSW), licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCC), marriage and family therapists (LMFT), and licensed graduate social worker (LGSW) are clinical trainees under supervision. Each clinician is trained and experienced in evidence-based treatment modalities.

This varies by individual need. Many clients start with weekly sessions and then adjust frequency as progress is made. Your therapist will work with you to determine a schedule that feels supportive and manageable.

Your intake session is typically 60 minutes and focuses on understanding your background, current concerns, medical and mental health history, and therapy goals. It sets the foundation for your care plan.

Ongoing sessions are typically 45–55 minutes. You and your therapist will explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and goals. Therapy is a collaborative process and evolves based on your progress and feedback.

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

Q: What if I don’t have insurance or prefer to pay out of pocket?

We offer private pay rates and can provide a Good Faith Estimate upon request. Depending on the provider, a sliding scale options may be available based on financial need.

A copay is a fixed amount you pay at the time of service, determined by your insurance plan. Copays are due at the time of your appointment and can be paid by credit card or HSA card.

Q: What is a deductible, and how does it affect what I owe?

A deductible is the amount you pay out-of-pocket each year before your insurance starts to cover services. If your deductible hasn’t been met, you’ll be responsible for the session fee that is allowed by your insurance plan until it is.

We do our best to verify insurance coverage and inform you of expected costs ahead of time. However, final responsibility for knowing your benefits lies with you, and we recommend checking directly with your insurance provider as well.
