Bio

Claudia is a Licensed Integrative Psychotherapist, a Licensed Pastoral Counselor and a Licensed Graduate Clinical Social Worker (pl) who has over 15 years of experience providing mental health services. Claudia’s experience is based on an educational foundation in Theology/Christianity, Social Work, Psychology, Psychotherapy and Spirituality. She is pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Transpersonal Counseling at the University of Sedona.


Claudia promotes a caring and nurturing environment where clients are invited to explore avenues in a guided and unique way. Blending a series of knowledge, evidence-based practice techniques and experience to generate a desirable change in the client’s desired outcome makes Claudia’s approach is integrative and individualized. With extensive education and experience, she is able to help her clients dissect many areas or their lives and be of service to understand the root cause of many of the underlying conditions. She speaks Romanian, English and Spanish.


Claudia specializes in trauma of all kinds, including sexual trauma, intimacy issues and has a geat deal of experience working with clients. She has years of experience working with intimacy issues, sexually abused clients as well as sex offenders. Her experience and training encompass areas such as sexual and emotional trauma, relationships, family matters or divorce, domestic violence, postpartum depression, dysthymia, sexual abuse, child abuse and neglect, lack of motivation, anxiety and phobias, parent/child/teen relational issues, suicidal behavior or ideation, emotion dysregulation, personality disorders, self-esteem, religious (Christian) and spiritual guidance. She is interested in developing a treatment plan based on an integrative approach that fits each person’s uniqueness and promotes them toward their personal growth journey.


Claudia has worked in a variety of different settings such as private clinics, hospitals, mental health inpatient, mental health outpatient settings, nonprofit and for-profit organizations. She has also served a culturally diverse population including minorities, immigrants, and the LGBTQ+ community. Her most recent endeavor was working with clients who struggled with paraphilic disorders and other mental disorders and issues (including clients with severe mental disorders, paraphilic disorders, pedophilic disorders, and intellectual disabilities) in an outpatient sex offender treatment center as an Approved Department of Correction Sex Offender Treatment Counselor. Throughout her many years of experience, she has also helped many couples in finding their way toward togetherness and the comfort of being in a partnership of love and understanding for each other.


She is trained/certified in a wide variety of areas including Socio-Somatic Analytical Psychotherapy, Rapid Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Gestalt, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Meditation, Mindfulness, NLP, Coaching, Hypnotherapy, Trauma Focused, Healing Touch, Family Systems, Person Centered, Trauma Informed, Psychoanalytical/Psychodynamic, Genogram, Family Constellation, and Polyvagal Theory.


Claudia works out of our Minnetonka, MN location and in her Little Falls, MN location. Sessions can be scheduled via TeleHealth as well.
